Lesson 4 - Correcting Exposure

This lesson explains and demonstrates how to improve the appearance of improperly exposed digital photographs.

In Lesson 12 of the Camera Section of this guide we presented a detailed explanation of proper photographic exposure. We won't repeat that information here.

While it is possible to improve a poorly exposed imagem with a photo-editor, it's always better to get the exposure right when taking the picture. It is never a good idea to be sloppy about setting your camera'a exposure controls beleaving you can 'always fix it with the editor.

Haveing made that point, let's see what improvements a photo-editor can make to poorly exposed images.
